MLB Here We Come!

We signed Micah up to play tee-ball this spring and it is pretty much the cutest, funniest thing to watch! 4-5 year olds that have no idea what they are doing but are so excited about it is hilarious! Eric is the "coach" if you can call it that. Basically he just makes sure everyone gets a turn. A parent is on every base so the kids know where to run and they play for about 45 minutes no matter how many innings that is. It's perfect! The best story so far comes from Micah's last game where a kid on the other team would hit the ball and then run after it...tackling anyone in his way. I'm not sure I've ever laughed so hard in my life! I debated whether or not to even do it this year because Micah is still so young but I'm glad we did because so far it's been a really great experience!

Potty Training Update...

Remember how I said that everything with Hailey was difficult? Well, then why do I keep expecting things to be different? I should be use to this by now. So after only going once on the actual toilet all weekend Hailey decided she was just going to hold everything in...even when I put a diaper on her. She stayed dry until 3:30 pm on Monday, even during her nap, but still wouldn't go on the toilet. Not that we didn't sit on the toilet about 5,000 times. Over the next few days it became apparent that she was becoming very constipated (not to mention what holding all that urine in that tiny little body can do) and she was crying all the time in pain and started freaking out when we entered the bathroom. Obviously, there is something going on and not wanting to cause any medical issues we've decided to back off a little bit. My dreams of having her completely potty trained by the time the baby comes is probably squashed but hopefully it won't overlap too long. I don't get it. Kids are potty trained at 2 years old ALL the time. So why can't I have children like that? Maybe third time will be the charm!

Glad Micah is enjoying t-ball.
As far as the potty training goes, I would seriously wait. We just barely potty trained Emmy. We tried to do it at 2 and it just wasn't worth it. This time around it has been a breeze. With a baby coming, it could really throw her and it could affect the potty training. She'll do it when she's ready but she definitely sounds too young right now.
Good luck!

Cute pictures! We're really counting down the hours until Josh can start playing soccer or baseball. There's just nothing like Spring/Summer with cute little boys in cute little sport uniforms!!
