Hailey turns 2

Today our little Hailey Ann turns 2! The past 2 years have gone by extremely fast. It's crazy how she turned into our little girl in what seemed like overnight. She has the most hilarious personality. She's loud and demanding and emotional but also the sweetest girl! I never have to remind her to say thank you (please is a different story) and she gives the best hugs...when it's her idea that is. I am convinced that Hailey was sent to me to teach me patience and it's something I'm still working on but I would like to think I have improved! Hailey loves having her fingernails painted, brushing her teeth and singing "You are my sunshine". However, most of all she loves her brother! She is a good substitute for a little brother for Micah and will play guns, cars and let's him watch all the boy movies he wants. In fact, her favorite movie is Monsters vs. Aliens, or as she calls it SUSAN! Hailey also continues to be a daddy's girl and runs to meet him at the door each day. I love this girl more than anything and I am grateful she is part of our family! Happy Birthday Hailey girl!

Hailey decided one day to take it upon herself to rearrange the pantry. After taking everything off the shelf (that she could reach) she raised her arms and yelled, "All done!" She was so proud of herself!

Christmas 2009

I can't believe Christmas is already over! It was crazy and so much fun! Micah and Hailey were so adorable and loved every minute of it! Micah made some "reindeer food" at school and was so excited to put it out. He really got into it. Here are a few pictures to commemorate the day!

We spent Christmas Eve at my sister Becky's house. Hailey loves being one of the girls with Rachel and Kate. They even painted her fingernails...her new favorite thing!

Typical Hailey wanted nothing to do with getting her picture taken in her new pjs. So we took a picture of her pouting!

We've started the tradition that whatever family we are not with for Christmas we open their presents on Christmas Eve. This is Micah with his new dog he named, Scruffy.

Micah is a big fan of Spiderman...in fact most of his presents were Spiderman themed!
