Micah Graduates!

On Friday Micah had his preschool graduation! Hard to believe our little boy will be in kindergarten in just a few months! But he is SO ready and is already giddy about it. To say his preschool has been wonderful would be an understatement! It has been a FABULOUS place for Micah the past 2 years. The teachers are excellent and Micah has learned so much both socially and educationally. It makes sending your son to school so much easier when he loves it and you know he'll be in good hands. I'm just sad that they are turning into a daycare so I won't be able to send Hailey there.

Micah wanted to show us some of his favorite toys at school

A loooong update

I realized recently I have very few pictures of Olivia. It's sad to admit but she is a third child and well...anyone with more than one child will understand! But even when I try to even the odds Micah and Hailey want to be a part of it. That's ok though, I love it when they are actually excited about getting their picture taken!

Trying to play "patty-cake" with Liv

What do you do with the boxes from Costco? Well, Micah turns him into beds! It's always an adventure to find where or how Micah will be asleep when we check on him! We didn't leave him this way fearing he wouldn't have use of his legs in the morning but I had to stop and take a picture before moving him!

This is a picture my cousin took on Mother's Day of me and my sister Becky. We have people tell us all the time how much we look alike. They also ask who is older...it makes her day because she is 7 years older, I get a little depressed. Even Hailey at around a year old would get us confused and give us weird looks. When she could talk she called her "Mommy Becky". I don't think we look more than just barely related. What do you think?

Micah's 2nd year of t-ball. I'm surprised how much he's improved since last year. They are pretty cute to watch!

The cheerleaders!

Unfortunately it's been surprisingly cold this t-ball season!

Still haven't quite figured out it's not a contact sport!

I told him to smile and this is what I got...

Last weekend we took a trip town to Moab for Eric's cousins wedding. It was a quick trip with lots of time in the car but the kids actually did really well. We stopped to look of the beautiful arches of Moab on our way back. The kids thought it was great!

Well, you'd think by the third child I'd be more prepared. No a third child has just turned us into a three ring circus. So the wedding was at Dead Horse Point. Beautiful scenic area in the middle of nowhere. (Thelma and Louise anyone?) Eric was put in charge of some music for the wedding and wrangled me into it as well. He was playing some "prelude" music on his guitar before the wedding then we were suppose to sing as Jordan, the bride, walked down the isle and then in the middle of the ceremony. It was of course Olivia's nap time and I thought she'd fall asleep in the car...no dice. We kept her in the carseat at first but then she started being fussy so I got her out. As I got her out I realized she wreaked! Being in the middle of nowhere and nothing but sand and rocks I set out to change her diaper on my lap, not an easy task with a wiggly 10 month old. 2 of my sister-in-laws were wonderful to help me out since the wedding was to start any minute. I soon found out that she had exploded a little bit. I had forgotten we had just started an antibiotic that does not do great things in the "going to the bathroom" department. She had gotten it all over the bottom of her dress. We wiped her down the best we could (of course I had absolutely no extra clothes for her), wrapped a blanket around her, handed her off to my sister-in-law and then I was off to calm my nerves before singing. After the wedding we were off to the reception/dinner. It was the opposite direction of our hotel so we decided not to go back for more clothes for Olivia. We'd just keep the blanket around her and make the best of it. A bad choice because when Eric took Olivia out of her carseat he noticed she'd exploded out of her diaper again. And this time when I say exploded I really mean exploded! All over the carseat, her blanket and of course making her dress truly unwearable. As I gave her a mini-bath with almost a whole package of wipes Eric ran to the gift shop and bought the smallest shirt to put her in. It is even too big for Hailey but Livvy looked pretty cute and was beyond happy the rest of the night. But we now have a cute shirt to remember what happened at the Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab!

One night Micah and Hailey played "too tired" to brush teeth and walk upstairs to their room.

Picnic lunch at a beautiful Moab park. The few hours the whole weekend it was overcast!

My adorable family

Today was the first time I put Olivia in the cart without her carseat. To say she was giddy would be an understatement. The picture is a little blurry because I couldn't get her to be still long enough! She loved it! It was like a whole new world had just opened up to her.

What a good looking family on Easter morning!

Getting all 3 to look and cooperate at the same time was...well, difficult to say the least. I guess I need to become a master at photo shop and just crop them all in the same picture together at their best. This was the best of them all. For the first time my girls had matching dresses and I have to say I think it was the most fun I ever had shopping! (I'm actually not a big shopper.) Hailey LOVED the fact that they had the same dress. Of course Micah told me he didn't like his tie but his father wouldn't let me buy the pink one I thought would complete the whole ensemble. (A 5 year old boy can pull off a pink tie in my opinion!)

Who doesn't like a new dress for Easter? It was at least a good excuse for me to buy new dresses...for them...can't remember the last time I bought me clothes! They are cuter anyway!

I tried to put the biased mom aside but I couldn't. Have you ever seen a more beautiful child? The camera just doesn't do her justice. And not to brag (ok, just a little) but I have people stop me all the time to tell me just how adorable Olivia is. Maybe it's the red hair or blue eyes or dimples...or maybe just the whole combination but she really is quite stunning!
