Potty Training Day #2

So I finally decided to suck it up and realized that I will never be in the mood to potty train Hailey, so I might as well get it over with. My goal has always been to have it done before the baby comes but I've been lazy...well, too tired to deal with it. I am 6 1/2 months pregnant after all! Hailey has actually gone in the toilet a few times in the past and asks about it frequently so we decided it was time to take advantage of the interest. Well...so far it has not been a great experience. Yesterday she did nothing but wet her underwear and today nothing has happened. At least she hasn't had an accident but she hasn't gone in the toilet either. Micah was so much easier. He really caught on fairly fast. I don't know if it was because he was a little older or if it was his fear of being "messy" but his only problem was being terrified of "big potties"! Everyone always told me that girls are easier and that second children are easier because they learn from older siblings. Apparently, Hailey is the exception to that rule. I guess that's what I get for having the bed transition be so easy! And I know...it's only day 2 but I am already frustrated. Problem with potty training while pregnant = no patience!

My best advice is to stick to it there are times you want to go back to diapers but you have to stick it out it is worth it and the other thing that worked well for us is sticker charts. with preston he would call the "power rangers" aka daddy at work sounding really strong and that was super exciting for him that he would go so he could call them. if there is a disney character that she likes or something that might work. You can call me I make a great princess voice!!!! jk

Go underwearless. Worked everytime (well, okay, twice) for me.
