Hailey's Big Girl Bed

Everything with Hailey from the moment she was born has been difficult. Crying, eating, sleeping, weaning...everything. So when we started talking about putting her in a real bed I dreaded it. I was nervous it would not go well. When we put Micah in a bed it wasn't horrible but it wasn't an easy task either. However, we wanted to get her in a bed and settled before the new baby came. Last night was the first night we put her in a "big girl bed" and it went fabulously! She loved it! She jumped right in and had no problems. She even took a nap wonderfully! I am knocking on wood just to be safe but I can't believe how easy it's been. Hailey is now officially a BIG girl!

As you know we live in Eric's parents house so there was already furniture in the room we wanted to use for her. It's a really big bed but luckily she doesn't move much while sleeping.

She climbed in last night without us even asking her to. She doesn't fight going to bed now because she loves her big girl bed!

I stole this idea from my cute friend Katrina. I used scrapbook paper on the tops of the wooden letters. It's hard to see everything in this picture (I was just using the camera on my phone) but I think it turned out pretty cute!

Congrats to Hailey (and you!) for doing so well in her bed!! She looks so tiny in that bed! I'm dreading the day that we have to move Hannah to a big girl bed!
