Miss Olive turns 9 months today!

As cliché as it sounds I can't believe my baby is already 9 months old! Besides the sleep deprivation I feel like she was just born, I blinked and now it's 9 months later! She is still such a sweet little thing and generally a really happy baby. She finally has 2 bottom teeth and the top ones are close behind...all came with only some lack of sleep but other than that she's been pretty good. You can tell Olivia wants to be in the mix running around with her brother and sister and I'm sure will be before long. Lucky for me she still feels a little more like a baby because she isn't crawling yet. Not even close in fact. However, she rolls and rolls and rolls! Liv can still be kinda reserved when giving out her smiles but I love it when she does and her little dimples show up! She has the most hair of all my kids at this age and it is still very red. I love it! I am so grateful for this little one and the peacefulness she brings to our family. (One look from her and even Hailey will stop crying!) With all the agonizing I did about naming her I am glad we decided on Olivia (although I still hate how common it is). I love all the nicknames we've given her, Liv, Livvy, Olive and as Hailey says, Livia. To me the name Olivia is very precious and delicate and so is our little one. It really has always fit her so well. It's amazing how much such a small being can change your life. I love my little buddy and the bonding moments only mother and daughter seem to have.

Bath time with cousin Carter! He is only 6 weeks older than Olivia. They already seem to be great friends and giggled the whole way through the bath!

As I said she isn't crawling so I have no idea how this happened. I came back from getting the other 2 out of the bath to find Livvy here, in the bottom of her saucer! I'm still not sure how she managed her way in.

She is so sweet! I love what you had to say about her name. I think naming a baby is a matter of inspiration and revelation. It is a big deal! She'll love reading those special motherly insights when she's older. She'll be one year old before you know it! Aaah!
