18 months!

Hailey turned 18 months old yesterday! Yes, officially in nursery...although it's at nap time so she only went for about 10 minutes by herself. Today I took her to the doctor for her check up and was interested to learn that she has gained weight even though she barely eats anything these days! She weighs 25 1/2 lbs. (75%) and is just shy of 34'' tall (97%). Looks like she's got those Big Barlow Genes! It's no wonder everyone is surprised when I tell them she is only 18 months old. She has been wearing 24 month/2T clothes for quite awhile now! So besides her picky eating habits she is healthy as can be! Hailey is really starting to talk quite a bit and will repeat almost everything you tell her. It still freaks me out when she says little phrases like, "I have some?" or "I sit Mom".  Micah didn't talk anywhere near that well at this age so it's a big surprise to me! She still loves her brother and it's so fun to see them interact together. They are finally getting to the point where they will play and entertain each other (for short periods of time) and it makes me grateful they are as close in age as they are! She is changing so fast so quickly and I don't know where my baby went! She's losing her baby face and her hair is really starting to come in (and getting very curly!) so she looks like such a little girl now! We are so grateful she is part of our family...even with her precocious and "dominant" personality!

Since we don't have any grass at our house she LOVES when we go to the park and she can run and play freely!
