Shoes
So I'm on a little bit of a soapbox today so if you are not interested in reading my tyrants then feel free to skip ahead.... Why is it so difficult to find reasonably priced shoes or sandals for boys? Why do stores give you one, maybe two, options but you look at the girl side and you have at least 15 options to choose from?!!! I have to admit that I normally am grateful for fewer decisions to make. Those of you that know me know I am a TERRIBLE decision maker and I hate to do it! Maybe it stems from being the youngest of 5 children so I never got the chance to make the decisions but whatever the reason...to this day I still hate making decisions no matter how great or small (it drives Eric crazy!). However, I would still like to maybe have a few options when it comes to my child's footwear but preferably something without a character on them! I have been everywhere looking for sandals for Micah! (Ok maybe not 'everywhere' but it sure feels like it sometimes when you are lugging 2 kids around.) I found ones I loved at Target but the 8's gave him absolutely no growing room and the 9's were way too large! Which unfortunately is something I have found from other stores as well. So my next question is...why do they not make half sizes for kids? I have seen very few and why? Because every child is suppose to be cookie cutter and fit the recommend size for their age? (Sense my sarcasm?) Alright, that is probably enough out of me today. But if any of you have found some nice sandals for small boys let me know!

payless flip flops. I dont remember if you wear flip flops as often as we do here but they have worked good for preston
Sorry, I only have a 9 here. If you want them, they are yours! They aren't nice enough for church, though.
Sarah, you are so funny. I have noticed that they don't have much in the fashion department for boys. I will keep my eyes open for you though!
Yeah, isn't it annoying how there is SO much more for girls than boys?? We want our little guys to be stylish, too! :) Sorry, I don't have any recommendations (Jonah hasn't ever worn shoes yet), but good luck! Oh, and if you find something that works, be sure to update us!
I hear you loud and clear... the last winter we were living in Utah I could not find Peter snow boots in his size. I went to every possible store imaginable to no avail. They all had a choice or two for boys in a larger size but the little girls had plenty of choices in the entire range of sizes. It was so frustrating!!! We finally ended up buying him the least girly looking boots and tearing off all the bows and stuff.
Yes, I hate how few options there are for boys. Little boys deserve cute clothes too. I'm standing right there with you on that soapbox!
I am constantly wondering this. You walk into ANY kids store and the boy section is maybe an eighth the size of the girl section. It's almost laughable.
