Scrapbookers advice!

I need some advice from any and all scrapbookers out there! I have just been doing one scrapbook for our whole family so far. I didn't really think that much about it because we only had Micah. Now I'm starting when Hailey was born (I'm only 1 year behind, ah!) and now I'm wondering if I should be doing separate scrapbooks for the kids so they have their own scrapbooks. But I want one too so does that I mean I have to scrapbook almost all the same pictures 3 different times? At this point it wouldn't be too overwhelming to go back and re-do some pictures but I don't want to wish I had done something different 15 years down the road. I guess what I am wondering is how do you scrapbook your family's pictures. I know some do digital which makes things easier but I don't really like them plus scrapbooking is my only hobby so I don't want to give it up! Please share your ideas, what's worked, or hasn't worked for you. Thanks!!!

I know some people that do seperate books for everyone. That just seems like A LOT of work, and $$. I do have a book of just Savannah's stuff, and a family book with holidays, outings, etc. I don't know yet if I will regret it, but I like it this way. There have only been a few things that I have debated on whether to put it in our family book or Savannah's. Sorry...I guess I'm not much help. ;)

Sarah, I found it is easiest to just print out the kids books and put them in those slide photo kind. That way, later they can do what they want with them and I can just do our family scrapbook. Now I'm digital so I may go back and do books for them. We'll see! :)

Hey Girl, I have found that doing one scrapbook for the family of all of our outings and then a separate one for each Sammy and Caleb of different Holidays and birthday or just special events in their lives. It has worked well so far :). Hope you are doing well!!!

I am in the same boat as Courtnie. I just buy huge photo albums and put 4x6 pictures in them with some journaling attached. I do a monthly calendar page that has family activites on it and developments in my children. I also know that you can turn your blog posts into a book so I'm thinking down the road that will be my scrapbook/journal? Good Luck and happy birthday Hailey!
